Jill & Eileen
ABOUT
Jill and Eileen found each other in 2008 when they became cubicle neighbors in the marketing department of a Boston-area company. Over the years, their shared obsession with fashion became a daily discussion. Their co-workers referred to them as "the stylish ones" in the office.
After six years of friendship, fashion and fun, the idea for A Stylish Pair blog was born over some maki rolls and a couple of bottles of Sapporro. Jill and Eileen wanted to chronicle their daily outfits, share office and casual dress inspiration with other women and offer access to tips, new products and sales for their fashion-loving friends.
What does A Stylish Pair mean? The name refers to Jill and Eileen, who are happily committed to their corporate jobs by day. As part time bloggers, they post photos and write about ideas and trends by night. The name also describes the things they crave, wear and write about - a stylish pair of jeans, a stylish pair of shoes, a stylish pair of sunglasses - you get the point. Enjoy!

TUNIC DRESS X TOPSHOP
I found this graphic tunic dress during a recent girls getaway weekend with my cousins in New York. We hit Topshop in SoHo and I couldn't resist this basic. I wanted to try it with a moto jacket (in this look) and also plan to see how it looks with booties, converse, sandals, belted, and layered with a vest or cardigan. Remember to experiment to get the most mileage out of the staples in YOUR closet!
My favorite part of this look is the bag. This is my own vintage Coach duffle, which I have kept for 18 or 20 years, despite considering tossing it several times. And I am glad I did, because Coach was noticing that women wanted a return to their classic leather bags, and a decrease in demand for their PVC fashion bags adorned with the signature "C" fabric. As a result, they reintroduced several iconic bags from the 70s and 80s in their Coach Classics Collection. Learn more in this interesting article about Coach from the Wall Street Journal online. While the new bags are a bit different from the original (lighter weight due to thinner leather; lined instead of raw leather inside), the great news is you can once again own one of your old faves if you have thrown yours away!
Happy styling!
Jill
