STRIPED SWEATER

I love this sweater! I need it in more colors. I picked this up at Nordstrom on a whim. This is a sweater I can wear now and throughout the fall into the winter. No bag needed because of the two big pockets.

WEEKEND CASUAL FAVES

I chose this super comfy and casual outfit for a Saturday night get together with friends.  It incorporates so many of my faves, my army jacket and Rag & Bone jeans from Nordstrom,  a necklace from J. Crew factory and my go-to Chambray button up from J. Crew.

Perfect for a breezy fall night.  I even broke out the suede wedges, I think I am starting to get comfortable with the idea of something other than summer's flip flops...

Have a stylish day!

ACADIA NATIONAL PARK - PART 2

In my last post, I shared pictures from my first afternoon in Bar Harbor, Maine during a 3-day summer getaway there with my husband.  Here are more shots of our breathtaking adventures at Acadia National Park's Sand Harbor Beach, Thunder Hole and Jordan Pond.

Bar Harbor gets its name from the expansive sand bar that is exposed when the tide goes out for several hours each day.

Taking in the view in a comfy one-shoulder suit from Kenneth Cole, my favorite swimwear brand, and mint green Body Glove board shorts.

During low tide, you can walk across to Bar Island, where you'll see captivating rock sculptures built by visitors.

Cute "person" sculpture!

Hike Cadillac Mountain at 4:30 a.m., and you will be among the first in the country to see Mr. Sun!

Spectaular Sand Beach.

A few minutes of yoga practice to wake me up, in Lululemon.

Did I mention Acadia is romantic?

Wow

Water, water everywhere!

Magnificent Thunder Hole, wanna go yet?

"The Bubbles" at Jordan Pond.  Sat right here for a picnic lunch.

Heading out to meet friends for drinks at the Balance Rock Inn and dinner at The Burning Tree. Yum!

The rooftop deck and pool at the West Hotel...

I am so excited to share these pictures of our 3-day getaway to Bar Harbor, Maine with all of you. We had so much fun hiking, biking, exploring, eating and relaxing. The jewel of Bar Harbor is Acadia National Park. It has so much to offer and you can spend days going around Mount Desert Island's loop road and experiencing the mountains, ocean, beaches, trails and stunning vistas.

Here, during our first afternoon, we explored West Street and the harbor near the Harborside Hotel where we stayed. It was simply gorgeous! I could not resist stopping at Stewman's Lobster Pound for a lobster roll. Stay tuned for more Bar Harbor pics and recommendations in my next few posts. Plan a fall getaway, now!

Have a stylish day!
